General Manager Janine McCullough Janine@goldeneaglefarm.com
Janine joined Golden Eagle Farm in 2003 after acting as the Operations Manager at Ballena Vista Farm for over 5 years.
Janine grew up in the saddle competing as a young child riding hunter/jumpers, she also broke yearlings and re-trained x-race horses for show careers as she got older and continues to ride today. Her mother was a trainer and her father wrote a novel on the history of the Kentucky Derby. Janine lived with her father in Lexington, KY for several years while living and working on Lann-Mark Farm and attending school.
Janine serves as a general manager for Golden Eagle's overall operations including management of the stallion bookings,marketing, mating decisions,staff and working closely with Betty Mabee & Larry Mabee on the farms goals while overseeing Golden Eagle Farm's entire equine portfolio.
Janine lives in San Diego with her blue & tan dappled miniature dachshund named "Sealy". She loves spending time with her show horse, Nash on her mother's ranch near Golden Eagle Farm. She also enjoys fitness, working on her house and babysitting her niece.
Veterinarian Dr. William Talbot
A 1981 UC Davis graduate, Dr Talbot started his equine practice in Southern California. His primary interest has always been mares and foals, however, he expanded his scope of practice by working with horses in training at San Luis Rey Downs as well. Dr. Talbot came to Golden Eagle Farm in 2004.
Dr. Talbot lives in Valley Center with his wife and two sons. In his spare time he enjoys going to the desert with his family to off-road.
Stallion Manager Manuel Piedra-Moran
Manuel joined Golden Eagle Farm in 1988 and brought with him many years of experience working with horses, so much that he was nicknamed "Charro" meaning horseman. His gentle demeanor keeps the stallions happy, and has made our breeding shed very successful over the years.
"Charro" lives at Golden Eagle with his wife and sons. When he's not busy on the farm, he enjoys soccer, both playing and watching, and spending time with his boys.

Allie started working for Golden Eagle Farm August 2008 after graduating from Loyala University of Chicago with a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling and is looking forward to completing her first book.

Broodmare Manager Jesus Moran-Morones
Jesus came to Golden Eagle Farm in 1988 from Durango, Mexico, where he grew up working with horses. He has worked in all areas of the farm, before being promoted as our broodmare manager, where his considerable skill with mares and foals is best utilized.
"Chalio" lives at Golden Eagle Farm with his wife and young son. In his leisure time he enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his family.
Maintenance & Horse Transportation Ismael Hernandez
Ismael has been working for Golden Eagle Farm since 1999. Besides taking care of the 570 acre farm, he also keeps up the maintenance on all the farm vehicles and tractors and when necessary, he transports all the farm's horses to various Southern California medical clinics and racetracks.
Ismael lives next door to the farm and loves spending time with his wife and 3 children. In his spare time he works on his house, cars or going off-roading with his kids.

Equine Operations Lori Piedra Lpiedra@goldeneaglefarm.com
Lori joined the team at GEF in February of 2001 as the farm's veterinary technician. After having her second child in May of 2007, she wanted to spend more time with her family, but found her love for "The Farm" was something she didn't want to give up. She now works part time doing the farm photography, emergency after hour horse care, and general care of all the horses on the farm and in Kentucky.
Lori lives on the farm with her husband and two sons. In her spare time she enjoys photography and singing on the Praise Team at her church.
