Golden Eagle Farm is comprised of seven barns, over 150 paddocks, and Bermuda grass pastures up to 15 acres to provide the most natural environment possible for our stock. This natural approach ensures that all of our horses are not only physically healthy but mentally sound as well. Our fields are walked seven days a week and each horse is physically evaluated and temped. On a monthly basis each horse is weighed and evaluated for body condition. Our equine residents eat a diet comprised of Alfalfa and Orchard grass, supplemented with a custom grain mixture developed with the help of our Equine Nutritionist, Dr. Stephen Duren. Dr. Duren visits the farm on a quarterly basis to check on the progress of growth on the horses and make any changes to the diet program that is necessary.
With the exciting changes happening at Golden Eagle Farm, we have currently limited our boarders to mares here for breeding purposes. We are still excepting a select number of sales preparation, breaking/training horses, and lay-ups. Please contact Janine at (877) 34-EAGLE or janine@goldeneaglefarm.com if you are interested in any of these services. |
